I’m a Staff Software Engineer at Pixar Animation Studios, where I design, build, and maintain full-stack web and native Apple platform apps across a variety of tools and stacks. The opinions here are entirely my own.

I’ve been fascinated by computers and electronics since the early ’90s, where anything that I could take apart had my attention. I was fortunate to have parents who encouraged my curiousity by finding devices for me to experiment with, connecting me with like-minded people, and putting computers in front of me. As someone who now works in that field professionally, I care deeply about both software and hardware, and I love when a project sits at the intersection of the two. I consider user experience and empowerment the most important aspects of a product.

I live in Marin County, California with my wife, two kids, and our cat.
